The event promised an unexpected ‘sound space’ experience where art and architecture met music and dance. For the launch I designed and installed an interactive network of nylon string that filled a double volume gallery space, purposely directing movement towards a cave-like dance area that framed the musician’s live performance. The stringed structure supported human weight, seeing participants fall against, dance within and navigate through the ropes.
