I make scribbles on MS Paint as a visual diary. I embrace the software's limitations and simplicity, though equally enjoy the inventiveness of this program, which allows scribbles to be manipulated quickly into patterns, colours that can change instantly, easy layering, and the comfort of the undo function. I collect these digital expressions on my blog Scribbled Egg.
The selection of paintings included in my portfolio are one further step in this personal process, through which I continue to explore notions of intuition and self-trust. I have recently started painting my Scribbled Eggs in acrylic, as I am interested in the relationship between these contrasting methods and media.
